May 2017 Together with the Youth ministry at church in the rural Eastern Cape, I started an agreement with local businesses in which school learners from poverty-stricken families were assisted with school uniform, warm clothes and transport to-and-fro school. August 2016 When I was the captain of the Y2K pool club, I attracted teenagers into the club and got them away from low-grade heroin. Playing pool and Volleyball. Solving Math problems and Logic/Strategy games. I would like to equip the youth with the necessary mathematical skills required in further study and in the real world. I enjoy showing people that Math has applications and is not there to make lives difficult. For example, Trigonometry is applied in Triangulation, whereby the position of an object is determined. Math is not for a selected few individuals. With proper guidance, anyone can excel in Math.
