I have a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge. I aim to help the student to learn and also obtain a deeper understanding of a subject. I have a BSc degree in Mathematics and Economics. I have also completed my BCom Hons degree in Monetary and Financial Economics. I have completed CT-1, Financial Mathematics.
Experience
I am currently a Technical Skills Trainer at an insurance company, where I help employees to improve their math and statistics skills. I also help several of our employees with their Heriot-Watt University MBAs. I provide assistance with their economics and finance subjects. Previously I have tutored economics at the University of Johannesburg for 5 years, while also tutoring primary as well as high school math at Pythagoras Math center for two years. I aim to help my students understand, rather than just learning the algorithm needed to solve a problem.

Weekends in the morning, Weekdays after 5PM

Hobbies
I play indoor football on Fridays and enjoy all kinds of sport. I love traveling and would love to travel more, hence I need an extra source of income. Road trips, that is what I enjoy doing, however, with the recent increase in the petrol price, one needs some additional income to travel our beautiful country.
